Kamil Shields spoke at the 2021 International White Collar Crime Symposium, hosted by the New York City Bar Association and the International Bar Association. This event, held on November 30, featured expert panels addressing issues relevant to the global white collar enforcement landscape, including anti-corruption developments; global enforcement trends; and challenges in conducting cross-border investigations. Kamil led the panel “Global Enforcement Trends,” which examined developments in sanctions; anti-money laundering and terrorism financing; cyber-enabled crime; crypto regulatory trends; and asset forfeiture and other potential sanctions.
