    Customs Announces Launch Date for IEEPA Tariff Refund Platform

    • CBP has announced it will launch a new platform on April 20, 2026 to issue refunds of tariffs that the Supreme Court invalidated; importers must submit claims through an online portal account, and submissions cannot be amended once filed, with refunds expected within 60–90 days.
    • The platform is limited in scope and does not cover all tariff categories, and there is potential uncertainty around whether, how, and when particular refunds will be paid.
