In December, the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) adopted the International Capital Standard (ICS) as a global prescribed capital requirement for internationally active insurance groups (IAIGs). The IAIS also adopted targeted updates to the Insurance Core Principles (ICPs) and Common Framework for the Supervision of IAIGs (ComFrame), and issued its 2024 Global Insurance Market Report.
