London Partners Basil Zirinis and Elizabeth Kubanik and associate Megan Eitel co-authored the introductory chapter of the 2026 edition of Chambers Global Practice Guide: Private Wealth, with Basil and Elizabeth serving as Contributing Editors. The guide examines emerging global trends affecting a broad range of private wealth matters, including tax regimes, succession planning, trusts and foundations, family business planning and wealth disputes, reflecting developments from 2025 into 2026.
The authors discuss the increasingly complex challenges that arise through varying tax laws, rules of inheritance, treaties and cultural norms and emphasize the importance of understanding legal and national cultures when approaching cross-border work.
