June Hu, Special Counsel in S&C’s General Practice Group and coordinator of the ESG Practice, and associate Antony Chu, co-authored a chapter for the American Bar Association’s Environment, Energy, and Resources Law: The Year in Review 2024 reviewing trends in the climate change sector.
The chapter provides an overview of international and domestic activity in the sector, including United Nations, EU and U.S. policies. The authors highlight developments in environment-related regulation and litigation, such as recent decisions regarding compliance with climate commitments and increases in “green-washing” cases.
