S&C antitrust partner Juan Rodriguez, who co-heads the Firm’s European Competition Group and its Antitrust Group, and associate Oscar Hayward have authored the England and Wales chapter in the first edition of The Settlements Guide, a new volume from Global Competition Review examining topics related to the settlement of global antitrust matters. In their chapter, Rodriguez and Hayward explain the process for the settlement of antitrust investigations in the U.K. and discuss related topics, including the level of cooperation required, the importance of lenience and commitments, and the complications of “hybrid” settlements.
