In the latest edition of Reuters’ Practical Law, Senior M&A Partner Frank Aquila discusses the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence poses in the boardroom. He examines how to best use AI tools for administrative support, information synthesis and substantive analytical assistance, while outlining key risks.

“[U]ltimately, the question is not whether boards will encounter AI, but how prepared they will be when they do,” Frank writes. “Boards that engage proactively and build governance frameworks, invest in education, and vet new tools with appropriate diligence will be better positioned to capture AI’s benefits while managing its risks.”
