S&C Partner Lauren Boehmke discussed her day-to-day experience as a lawyer working in the corporate M&A space, her favorite aspects of the role, and advice she’d give to her younger self, with IFLR. “What matters is building a practice that you truly enjoy and forming relationships that endure over the long run.”
Lauren also shared the ways in which her colleagues at S&C inspire her and offered a key lesson she received from a mentor: “Always be the most prepared person in the room.” She noted that there is no single formula for success in the world of corporate law, but for her, “three main things … are the ability to remain calm, think through and articulate points clearly and work collegially under pressure.”
