Inosi Nyatta, Co-Head of S&C’s Global Project Development & Finance Practice and Silvia Brünjes, European Counsel, co-authored an article for Law360 discussing the recently released U.S. Environmental Protection Agency final regulations and European Commission proposed policies aimed at supporting existing and future carbon capture, sequestration and storage.
The authors provide a brief overview of the final EPA regulations, which focus on the reduction of pollution from fossil fuel-fired power plants in the U.S., as well as a summary of EU developments in the carbon capture space.
