Frank Aquila, global head of S&C’s M&A practice, will be a featured speaker at
The Deal’s “
The Deal Economy: Predictions and Perspectives” online conference from September 21-24. The event will examine how dealmakers have adjusted to “a new volatile normal of fluctuating valuations and financial instability.” Daily panel topics will include the best paths toward long-term shareholder value creation, new challenges and risks affecting deals, and mitigation strategies for those risks.
Frank’s panel, “Restructurings, Carveouts and Divestitures: The Right Decision for Long-Term Value Creation?,” will be held at 11 a.m. on September 22. The session will focus on the decisions corporate leaders face during this time of uncertainty, including whether and when to shed assets to shore up key areas of the business. Frank recently wrote an article for
Bloomberg Law exploring related matters, “
Fiduciary Duties in the Zone of Insolvency.”
“The Deal Economy: Predictions and Perspectives” will be held via videoconference. Click
