IAM’s Patent Law and Policy 2016

On November 15, Jeffrey Wall moderated a panel titled “Connecting DC with Wall Street—how IP investors view the legal and policy landscape” as part of IAM’s Patent Law and Policy 2016, which was held at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, D.C. The panel covered investors’ patent hopes for the new administration, as well as whether the market is in recovery despite the courts and Congress, and whether the United States still leads the way for intellectual property investors.

Jeffrey also participated in a panel titled “A falling market: a general overview of the patent litigation landscape.” The panel covered recent decisions in patent litigation and the continued involvement of the U.S. Supreme Court in patent cases, among other topics.
