From February 23 to March 4, Mr. Taylor taught a short course, “Payroll Taxes and the Net Investment Income Tax – Structure, Policy and Impact on Choice of Business Entity,” at New York Law School. The course focused on the impact of the FICA and SECA payroll taxes on business structures and review key issues, evolving controversies and planning opportunities relating to Section 1411’s new 3.8% tax on net investment income. Mr. Taylor is an Adjunct Professor at New York University Law School and has taught at the Yale and University of San Diego Law Schools and elsewhere.
