On January 30, S&C hosted the kickoff reception and panel for the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Leading with Diversity Law Firm Initiative in its New York offices. JPMorgan Chase’s goal is to have at least 50 percent women or lawyers from other under-represented demographic groups in leadership positions on the bank's litigation teams, as well as among its chosen arbitrators. The panel addressed the panelists’ career paths and what challenges they faced as women in the legal profession. Moreover, the panelists discussed accountability for promoting diversity in the legal industry.
