On October 22, Mr. Neuhaus spoke on a panel titled, “Sovereignty Rules? Implications of Recent U.S. Court Decisions Involving Argentina,” as part of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law 2014 Fall Meeting in Buenos Aires. The panel explored how the aftermath of Argentina’s 2001 debt crisis shaped U.S. law and continues to effect recent U.S. court cases involving Argentina, such as BG Group v. Argentina, NML Capital v. Argentina and the Supreme Court’s decision regarding discovery of Argentina’s assets.
