On September 14, Ryne Miller gave a presentation titled “Commodity Firm Coverage under US and EU Rules” at the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s (ISDA) New York conference on The Impact of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) on US Firms and Markets. The presentations addressed regulatory issues applicable to commodities and derivatives trading firms under both U.S. and E.U. laws, including the Dodd-Frank Act (United States) and MiFID II (European Union). The conference was attended by legal and compliance professionals from the financial services industry and representatives of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
