On September 30, Mr. Littleton gave a presentation titled “Civil Litigation and Business Interests” as part of Touro Law Center’s 28th Annual Leon D. Lazer Supreme Court Review: October 2015 Term, which was co-sponsored with the Practising Law Institute and took place in New York City. The talk covered recent Supreme Court decisions regarding the use of representative evidence in class actions, the effect of an unaccepted offer of judgment on a named plaintiff’s standing to pursue claims on behalf of a class and the kinds of intangible injuries based on statutory causes of action that can support Article III standing.
