American Bankruptcy Institute’s International Insolvency Symposium

October 7, 2016
Amsterdam, Netherlands

On October 7, Mr. Dietderich participated in the American Bankruptcy Institute’s International Insolvency Symposium, which was held this year in Amsterdam. Mr. Dietderich chaired the first panel of the day, the annual review of American restructuring and insolvency matters, titled “America Now, 2016.” The panel addressed conflicts of interest in the four largest pending cases in the United States—Caesars, SunEdison, EFH and Abengoa. S&C has been involved in all four matters. The International Insolvency Symposium was founded in 2005, with its inaugural conference in London, and has brought together many of the highest-profile bankruptcy professionals from the United States in a European city each year since then.
