On September 26, Robert DeLaMater spoke on a panel discussing the practice of international and comparative law and work as a lawyer on cross-border matters at a panel discussion and reception held by the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law at Columbia Law School. The event was held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Judge Edwin B. Parker, a prominent international lawyer during the early 20th century, who upon his death in 1929 left an endowment to establish the Parker School for the purpose of promoting the study of transnational law, international commerce and the foreign relations of the United States.
