On November 20, Ms. Delahunty spoke on a panel titled, “Update on the UK Bribery Act: DPAs, Facilitation Payments and SFO Priorities,” at the American Conference Institute’s 31st International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, held in Washington, D.C. The panel discussed utilizing the SFO 6-factor test for eliminating “grease” payments, the impact of the Innospec case on SFO cases going forward, new rules on incentivizing whistleblowers in the U.K. and the increased focus on prosecution against individuals, among other topics.
