On September 21, Rodgin Cohen gave the keynote address at a conference titled The September 2008 Financial Crisis: A Legal Retrospective, sponsored by the Center for Banking and Finance at the University of North Carolina School of Law. In his remarks, Rodgin identified 11 specific points from the crisis that had important lessons for the future. Thomas Baxter also spoke on a panel that considered “Resolutions – bank failures, bankruptcies, bailouts and conservatorships.”
