December 23, 2022

Diane McGimsey and Adam Paris have been selected for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 “Leaders of Influence: Thriving in Their 40s” list, which honors the most impressive Los Angeles professionals across several sectors.
Diane was recognized for achieving a series of successful results for clients in trials and appeals, including winning a trial for real estate investor Richard Cohen, who faced potential damages of $103 million, and obtaining summary judgment for BP West Coast Products in two putative antitrust class actions. Diane also serves on the boards of several philanthropic and advocacy organizations, including the Western Justice Center and Claremont McKenna College’s Salvatori Center for the Study of Individual Freedom.
Adam earned a spot on the list for handling complex business litigation matters, particularly those with issues involving antitrust/unfair competition, trade secrets, mergers and acquisitions and securities. Adam recently advised Abiomed in antitrust aspects of its pending $18 billion merger agreement with Johnson & Johnson—the largest-ever announced acquisition in the medtech sector. Adam has also litigated a number pro bono cases, and he serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations committed to providing legal, educational and cultural services to disadvantaged and underserved communities in Los Angeles.
