Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards. Their article, “
District Court Holds that Qualcomm Patent Licensing and Other Conduct Violates the Sherman Act,” analyzed the Northern District of California’s decision in
FTC v.
Qualcomm, which held that Qualcomm’s modem chip licensing and other practices violated the Sherman Act. The authors examined the decision’s potential impact on Qualcomm and the wireless business as it transitions to 5G technology.
The article was selected by a jury of 51 international antitrust experts who reviewed more than 600 articles.
