Anheuser-Busch InBev Enters Agreement With Starbucks to Market Teavana Ready-to-Drink Tea in the United StatesNovember 4, 2016
S&C is advising Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) in its definitive agreement with Starbucks to produce, bottle, distribute and market the first Teavana Ready-to-Drink tea in the United States, with an anticipated product launch in the first half of 2017.
AB InBev is the world's largest brewer and the third-largest fast-moving consumer goods company by firm value.
Starbucks is the premier roaster, marketer and retailer of specialty coffee in the world, operating in 68 countries. Starbucks acquired the Teavana® brand in 2012 through its acquisition of Teavana Holdings, Inc., a specialty retailer of premium looseleaf teas, authentic artisanal teawares and other tea-related merchandise.
