American Water Works Company, Inc., through its financing subsidiary, closed a registered offering of $625 million of 3.750% senior notes due 2028 and $700 million of 4.200% senior notes due 2048. Founded in 1886, American Water is the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company, providing drinking water, wastewater and other related services to more than 14 million people in 45 states and Ontario, Canada.
