Two Sullivan & Cromwell matters took home top honors at the 2020

Budweiser APAC’s
initial public offering on the Hong Kong stock exchange was named “Equity Market Deal of the Year.” The $5.75 billion global offering was the fourth largest IPO globally of 2019, as well as Hong Kong's second highest-value IPO in 2019. The S&C team that advised AB InBev and Budweiser APAC was drawn from offices around the globe and led by partners Frank Aquila in New York, John Horsfield-Bradbury in London and Kay Ian Ng in Hong Kong.
Delivery Hero's $4 billion acquisition of Woowa Brothers was named both the “M&A Deal of the Year” and “Technology, Media & Telecommunications Deal of the Year.” Woowa Brothers is the operator of the largest online food delivery service in South Korea. The S&C team that advised shareholders of Woowa Brothers was led by Hong Kong-based partner Garth Bray.
