Ted Rogers and Christina Andersen Co-Author Article on Current Legal Landscape of Electronic Discovery

Mr. Rogers and Ms. Andersen co-authored the article, “Electronic Discovery – The Current Legal Landscape,” published in the July 2012 issue of the Computer & Internet Lawyer. The article discussed the application of discovery rules on electronic data and the various issues this application raises, including standards for retention, means for determining the appropriate scope of discoverable information and which party should pay for the processing of this information. In addition, the article outlines a number of recent developments involving electronic information. These developments include amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, recommendations for amendments to the American Bar Association’s Civil Discovery Standards and a number of authoritative papers and rulings involving electronic discovery.
