S&C Holds Briefing on Dodd-Frank Reform

On July 19, S&C hosted a Briefing on Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act for clients and friends of the Firm at our New York office.

Signed into law by President Obama on July 21, Dodd-Frank seeks to address the perceived deficiencies and gaps in the regulation of the U.S. financial services industry; reduce the risk of bank failures; and better equip financial regulators to guard against or mitigate any future crises.

The briefing explored the far-reaching implications of Dodd-Frank across the financial regulatory landscape.
