Mr. Zirinis, Ms. Bezrukova, Mr. Corn and Mr. Gadwood published an article titled, “Unintended Consequences: Does an Offshore Trustee’s Disclosure of Privileged Legal Advice to a Beneficiary Pursuant to Local Law Waive the Attorney-Client Privilege in the United States?,” in the November issue of the U.K. publication Trust Quarterly Review. Mr. Graham provided valuable insight. The article discussed the risk that a non-U.S. trustee’s disclosure of privileged legal advice to a trust beneficiary may waive the attorney-client privilege with respect to that advice.
