    • BNP Paribas on its sale of Bank of the West, its U.S. retail and commercial banking business, to BMO Financial Group for a base price of $16.3 billion in cash
    • Covivio on its €1.2 billion voluntary public takeover offer for all shares in Godewind Immobilien
    • EDF on its €3 billion acquisition of Dalkia; on its €1.4 billion take of EDF Energies Nouvelles; on its acquisition of in EDF Luminus; and on its agreement to sell its 25.4% stake in Alpiq to EBM and EOS Holding for CHF 489 million
