Rodge Cohen Interviewed by WVOX Radio

June 11, 2010

On June 11, Mr. Cohen was interviewed by WVOX radio, a Westchester, New York radio station. When asked about his thoughts on the recent financial crisis and how to avoid a similar situation in the future, Mr. Cohen noted, "A number of major institutions simply took too much risk, and in hindsight they were too leveraged. A combination of legislation and a more proactive supervisory role is critical in avoiding another crisis like we experienced." Mr. Cohen also addressed topics such as his role in the Iran hostage crisis during the Reagan Administration, his efforts in trying to save Lehman Brothers, his views on the success of TARP during the economic downturn and the New York Yankees.
