Mr. Cohen was interviewed on the BBC World Service “Business Daily” program about his experience advising financial institutions during the recent economic crisis. He discussed the current state of the banking industry, in both private and public sectors, and said that “there are still very substantial risks in the system. There's a lot of dry tinder out there, there are lightning strikes and some arsonists.” He identified issues such as whether loans will be repaid and the potential consequences of betting against the Euro and countries.
