September 9, 2010

Mr. Cohen was quoted in the September 9 issue of the South China Morning Post. The article titled, “Chinese lenders in tentative U.S. moves; Caution seen as key in bumpy market,” examines recent inroads by Chinese banks into the U.S. market. “It’s clear that Chinese banks and the whole Chinese regulatory system have improved markedly in the past several years,” Mr. Cohen said. He also said that over the next two years more Chinese banks would likely gain regulatory approval to open in the United States.
