Frank Aquila Discusses Effects of Hurricane Sandy on M&A Market

October 29, 2012

Mr. Aquila was quoted in the article, “M&A Momentum Not Slowed By Hurricane Sandy,” published in the October 29 edition of Mergers & Acquisitions. The article pointed to the continuation of dealmaking despite the challenges posed by Hurricane Sandy. While the storm has largely impacted the larger capital markets, Mr. Aquila said middle-market transactions are still being announced. “By and large, I don't expect there to be any impact on the M&A markets,” said Mr. Aquila. He also noted the possibility for an uptick in M&A for insurance and construction companies in the aftermath of the storm.
