Suniti Mehta is a special counsel in the Firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on complex criminal, civil, and regulatory enforcement matters and internal investigations and securities litigation. She has advised financial institutions and corporations in proceedings involving allegations of money laundering, economic sanctions, securities, fraud, and bribery violations. She has represented clients in inquiries by the Department of Justice, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and various federal and state bank regulators, including investigations of domestic and foreign banks by U.S. criminal and regulatory authorities.
