    Stanley Farrar has extensive experience in representing financial institutions, including in mergers and acquisitions (including cross-border transactions and more than 35 deals in the western United States since January 2000), domestic and international securities offerings, corporate governance, commercial transactions and bank regulatory matters.

    Mr. Farrar is a former chairman of the Financial Institutions Committee of the State Bar of California’s Business Law Section. He has chaired subcommittees on bank holding companies and letters of credit for committees of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Farrar has been a frequent lecturer and writer on subjects relating to financial institutions and mergers and acquisitions. He resided in our Tokyo office from 2006 to 2009. He was a fellow at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, India from 1967 to 1968.
