    Shihui Xiang is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell’s general practice group in Tokyo. Her practice focuses on equity and debt capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory and compliance matters for listed companies.

    Selected representations:

    • Represented Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in its $2.75 billion inaugural issuance of green bonds.
    • Represented Rakuten Bank and Rakuten Group in Rakuten Bank’s $667 million IPO, listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
    • Represented Rakuten Group in its $1.9 billion global equity offering.
    • Represented Rakuten Group in issuing $550 million undated subordinated fixed rate reset notes.
    • Advised Nippon Steel Corporation on its $390 million cash tender offer for shares of subsidiary Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd.
