    Nav Dhillon is an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Litigation Group. Nav represents companies and financial institutions in a wide range of disputes, with particular emphasis on complex civil litigation relating to intellectual property, contract, and securities matters before state and federal trial courts.

    Experience

    • Ocado in multiple IP and antitrust cases against AutoStore relating to patents on robots used for cubic auto storage and retrieval systems. After a series of offensive victories in the U.S. and abroad, including a complete victory in an ITC trial and favorable rulings before the PTAB, Ocado entered into a settlement and patent cross-license agreement under which AutoStore agreed to pay Ocado more than $270 million and agreed to important restrictions on its business to respect Ocado’s IP going forward.
    • Masimo Corporation in obtaining a unanimous jury verdict in a patent infringement action against Apple, Inc., which found that an Apple Watch feature infringed Masimo's patent for a low-power pulse oximeter and awarded a reasonable royalty of more than $634 million.
    • Lexeo Therapeutics in defending against alleged trade secret misappropriation claims and asserting counterclaims for trade secret misappropriation, breach of NDA, and correction of patent inventorship against a competitor in the SDNY. The case settled on terms favorable to Lexeo with no admission of liability.
