Lori Sherman is Special Counsel in the Firm’s Litigation Group, focusing on complying with and obtaining merger clearances under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and various foreign merger control and foreign investment laws. She has extensive experience with U.S. and multinational acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. Lori counsels transaction parties with respect to permissible activities relating to integration planning and information sharing between signing and closing transactions. For more than two decades, Lori has advised companies and firms in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures in a diverse range of industries, and she has coordinated large numbers of merger clearances in cross-border transactions. Most recently, she advised business teams about a wide range of complex antitrust issues as in-house counsel for RTX Corporation, where she was Director and Senior Antitrust and Competition Counsel. Before that, she spent more than 20 years as an Associate for a prominent law firm working on antitrust matters.
