    Justin J. DeCamp is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Group. He maintains a wide-ranging practice with a significant focus on finance, bankruptcy, and restructuring-related matters. He has represented financial industry and corporate clients in a broad range of high-stakes litigation in federal district, appellate, bankruptcy, and state courts, including in a wide range of debtor-creditor, contractual, merger, employment, and other complex business and financial disputes, mass tort litigation, securities litigation, and avoidance actions, as well as in numerous regulatory and enforcement proceedings and arbitrations.

    • Oaktree Capital Management and affiliates in the Chapter 11 case cases of TPI Composites, Inc. and affiliates in bankruptcy litigation relating to pre-petition financing.

    • Various major international financial institutions in DOJ, SEC, CFTC, NYAG, Federal Reserve, FINRA, U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and foreign regulatory investigations arising out of the global financial crisis, the structuring, marketing, and valuation of complex financial instruments, securities and options trading and market manipulation.
    • UBS in a putative securities class action after UBS’s market capitalization declined by nearly $115 billion, following disclosures of subprime and other losses.
    • UBS in shareholder derivative litigation in New York Supreme Court alleging violations of fiduciary duties under Swiss law.
    • Volkswagen in a putative securities class action relating to Volkswagen’s voluntary disclosure about potential anti-competitive conduct under European law.
    • Goldman Sachs in litigations brought by various companies alleging that prime brokerage firms manipulated the market for those companies’ stock by intentionally failing to deliver shares sufficient to settle short positions entered into by the defendants’ clients.
    • Standard Chartered Bank (Switzerland) in successfully obtaining a non-prosecution agreement from the DOJ in connection with the DOJ’s tax-related Program for Swiss Banks.
