Joyce Kwok is a special counsel in S&C’s General Practice Group and joined the Firm in September 2012. Ms. Kwok advises clients on a wide range of debt financing transactions, including capital markets offerings, revolver and term loan facilities, bridge facilities and asset-based facilities. Ms. Kwok has particular experience in leveraged finance, acquisition finance and private credit transactions.
Ms. Kwok has advised companies across a broad range of industries, including, among others: Amgen, AT&T, Credit Suisse, Crescent Capital, Rhône Capital, Robinhood, Spirit AeroSystems, Standard Industries, United Rentals and Wasserman Media Group.
Ms. Kwok has acted for clients in a number of transactions, including for Amgen in its $28.3 billion acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics, for AT&T’s Warner Media Unit in its $41.5 billion debt financing commitment with respect to its Reverse Morris Trust transaction with Discovery, for United Rentals in its $2 billion acquisition of Ahern Rentals, for lenders on a $9.3 billion debt financing for VICI Properties’ acquisition of MGM Growth Properties and for Standard Industries in the financing for its $7 billion acquisition of W. R. Grace & Co.
