Götz Drauz is a member of the Firm’s Antitrust Group. His practice focuses on EU and German competition law. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Drauz spent 25 years with the European Commission, most recently as the Deputy Director-General for Competition and previously as the head of the Merger Task Force.
Both in leadership positions at the Commission and later as lead counsel for clients, Mr. Drauz was responsible for many of the largest and most complex global transactions across a range of industries. Mr. Drauz has also represented companies in complex conduct and cartel investigations before both the European Commission and the German competition authority.
