Amanda Shami is an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Litigation Group and a member of the Firm’s Criminal Defense and Investigations Group. Her practice focuses on investigations and regulatory enforcement proceedings involving securities fraud, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and bank fraud. Amanda’s pro bono work includes successfully defending a criminal conviction on behalf of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office before the New York Appellate Division, Second Department and representation of indigent defendants pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act. Amanda was named by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation (2022).
