    Alexis Holmes is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Group.  Ms. Holmes has worked on a broad range of complex commercial matters in federal and state courts, including products liability, contract, securities, and shareholder derivative litigation.  Her practice also focuses on governmental investigations.

    Experience

    • Represents Major League Baseball, as well as the Astros and Tigers, in three separate litigations in New York state court arising out of MLB’s reorganization of the minor leagues
    • Represents Volkswagen AG and Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. in civil litigation relating to the “clean diesel” matters in federal and state court in California, including a three-week jury trial in federal court in San Francisco that achieved favorable results
    • Represents Citigroup and its directors in both securities litigation and shareholder derivative litigation related to oversight of internal controls and risk management
    • Represents Wells Fargo & Co. in a securities class action pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California arising out of the forced placement of auto insurance
