Federal Bar Council Program on Cooperating With the Government

On May 8, Mr. Peikin spoke on the panel, “Cooperating With the Government,” sponsored by the Federal Bar Council in New York City. The program was moderated by The Honorable Richard J. Sullivan, U.S. District Judge of the SDNY. The panel discussed current issues relating to cooperating with the government in criminal and regulatory investigations, as well as the benefits and burdens of cooperation for entities and individuals, legal principles governing cooperation, difficult cooperation situations, cooperation in multi-agency investigations and issues concerning inter-agency cooperation.
