SNL Financial Hosts 2010 Bank M&A Symposium with S&CSeptember 28-29, 2010

Mr. Cohen, Mr. Eitel and Mr. Menting were featured speakers at the SNL Financial 2010 Bank M&A Symposium, which was held in New York on September 28 and 29. This is the second consecutive year that the Firm has partnered with SNL Financial for this event. The program addressed recent regulatory developments affecting the banking industry and included panel discussions on the outlook for bank M&A. Mr.Eitel and Mr. Menting co-chaired the program, and Mr. Cohen gave the keynote address in which he spoke about the revival of the M&A market. Mr. Cohen also moderated a CEO panel on the topic of M&A in strategic planning. Mr. Menting moderated panels titled, “Investment Bankers’ Assessments and Predictions” and “Devil in the Details: Due Diligence, Accounting and Post-Merger Considerations.” Mr. Eitel moderated a panel titled, “Capital is King,” in which private equity and other market participants discussed the role of capital in bank investments.
