Nicolas Bourtin has been selected for The Burton Foundation’s “Distinguished Legal Writing Award,” which recognizes the 20 best articles published in the past year by lawyers in the United States. Nic was honored for his article “Are Criminal Antitrust, 'Klein' Conspiracy, and Insider Trading Prosecutions All Unconstitutional? The Untenable Legal Bases of 'Judge- Made' Criminal Law,” which was published in New York Law Journal. The article was written in collaboration with Professor Allison Caffarone.
This marks the twenty-third consecutive year that an S&C lawyer has won The Burton Award, excluding a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
