S&C was recognized for advising e& PPF Telecom Group B.V. on a multi-party transaction with United Group B.V. and Telekom Serbia that was named a “Deal of the Year” at the CEE Legal Matters Awards. The transaction included e& PPF Telecom Group B.V.’s acquisition of SBB, a leading cable television and broadband internet service provider in Serbia, and the subsequent sale of SBB’s direct-to-home business to Telekom Serbia.
e& PPF Telecom, a partnership between e& and PPF Group, was formed in 2024 upon the completion of e&’s acquisition of a controlling stake in PPF Telecom Group’s businesses in Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia, which S&C also advised on.
The transactions, which completed in the first half of 2025, have a combined enterprise value of approximately €1.5 billion.
