John Horsfield-Bradbury and Kon Asimacopoulos, Co-Managing Partners of S&C’s London Office, have been recognized in Financial News’ “Fifty Most Influential Lawyers” 2026 list. The list highlights the publication’s top-ranked legal figures and business leaders in Europe.
Their inclusion comes during a period of significant growth for S&C in London. Over the past year, John and Kon have overseen a transformational expansion of the office, with the Firm adding leading partners to strengthen its private capital, restructuring, specialty lending and leveraged finance capabilities, reflecting the importance of London as a centre for sophisticated UK, European and cross border matters.
John has extensive experience advising on public and private offerings of equity and debt securities for a wide range of issuers. He also advises US listed issuers on corporate governance matters.
Kon is Co-Head of Sullivan & Cromwell’s European Restructuring and Special Situations Practice and Co Head of the Global Restructuring Group. For more than 25 years, he has been among Europe’s leading restructuring lawyers, advising on some of the most significant global restructuring transactions and crisis situations.
