S&C was named a Tax “Practice Group of the Year” by Law360. In an interview with the publication, Davis Wang and Isaac Wheeler, Co-Heads of the Firm’s Tax Group, said that much of the practice’s success can be attributed to the team’s depth of experience across a range of tax issues, from financing to M&A.
“Clients look for that kind of breadth of experience which allows us to be creative in seeing things that others might not see,” Davis said.
The Firm recently advised X and xAI on their $113 billion merger; Discover on its $50.6 billion merger with Capital One; and RedBird Capital Partners on a deal that will preserve the over 100-year-old legacy of Paramount Global as one of Hollywood’s most iconic production companies.
S&C was named a “Firm of the Year” for its showing in these awards, with six practices selected.
