Sharon Nelles, Managing Partner of Sullivan & Cromwell’s Litigation Group, was named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2026 list of “Top 10 Women in Litigation.” Based on extensive peer and client review, the list recognizes ten women litigators from across the United States who have participated in the most impactful litigation matters.
This summer, Sharon secured a victory for client Boeing, obtaining a dismissal of a stockholder derivative suit against Boeing’s directors and officers arising out of the January 2024 door-plug blowout on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282.
She was also named to Forbes’ inaugural list of “America’s Top Women Lawyers,” was recognized as an “Unrivaled Litigator” by Bloomberg Law and was named to Benchmark Litigation’s “Top 250 Women in Litigation” list for the twelfth consecutive year.
